A flagship project by Indonesia and Singapore is pursuit of economic co operation, BIP is sited on a 500 hectare land in Batam Island. Managed by Sembawang E & C, BIP is a self contained industrial estate with factories, dormitories, social & recreational facilities and its own water treatment and power plants, sewage treatment plants and a telecommunication tower.
Sembawang was involved in the design and construction of the 500 hectare industrial estate on BATAM Island in RIAU province of Indonesia.
